The shape of the European gas market could forever be changed in the aftermath of the gas dispute between Russia and Ukraine. The dispute has cost Gazprom as much as $1.1 Billion already in export earnings, and undermined its market share.

On a meeting with the head of Italian oil and gas company ENI Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has proposed Ukraine to supply them with process gas (maintenance gas needed to keep product flowing through the pipes) on behalf of the International consortium of European countries to start the transit of fuel to Europe via Ukraine.

Spotlight: the gas dispute 16 sty 2009
Today we will again talk about the continuing European gas dispute. Ukraine, a major transit country for Russian gas to Europe, has so far not allowed the gas through, claiming the two sides had not agreed on the volume of gas and the pipelines to be used. As the outrage of Gazprom and EU consumers grows, President Dmitry Medvedev has proposed European gas-consuming countries gather for a summit. But when and where may it happen? And will the negotiations help to find a way out? Well be talking about it with Marc Franco, who heads the European Commission Delegation in Moscow, and Andrey Klimov, Head of the State Duma Subcommittee on European Co-operation.

... czy to jest rzeczywiście propozycja czy - aluzja (tjonkaja) ostrzeżenia? ... ;-) ... bo chociaż z miłej dla mego ucha melodi głosu nic nie rozumiem, to miło mi jest zobaczyć inne buzie niż te które u nas - na Zachodzie - wszystkie niezależnie - mówia do znudzenia to samo ... ;-(

P. Andrzej często puszcza filmiki z polskiej tv i to z różnych programów. Czy uważa Pan polską tv za zależną od Putina? Czasem puszcza również fragmenty z CNN czy BBC - ci też są na pasku Moskwy?
Co do ukraińskiej tv - to którą ma Pan ma myśli? Czy tą należącą do stron konfliktu - jak np. tv oligarchy Firtasza, czy może tą innych konkurujących z nim oligarchów? Oligarchowie ukraińscy są zdecydowanie antyrosyjski - niczego od Rosji nie chcą oprócz jej kasy. Czy to wystarcza do bycia wiarygodnym i obiektywnym w Pańskich oczach?
